Contribution to the Confidence Building Measures Programme in Transnistria - Health Sector (Phase 2)
The overarching goal of the project is to make sure that the population of Republic of Moldova, including in Transnistria region, has improved health status, financial protection, equitable access to and satisfaction with health services. The overall objective is that the population of Transnistria region benefits from comprehensive quality health services, with specific focus on Maternal and Child Health (MCH) and Immunization.
Global Joint Programme on “Mainstreaming Migration into National Development Strategies”
The project aims to enable the governments involved and their UNCT partners to develop a context-specific, evidence-based, participatory, and holistic approach to migration and development at the national level. Mainstreaming migration in development planning may be defined as the process of assessing the implications of migration on any action or goals planned in a development strategy.
Joint Action to Strengthen Human Rights in the Transnistrian Region of the Republic of Moldova (Phase 2)
The project is grounded in the United Nations human rights-based norms and standards and pursues strengthening of the effective exercise of human rights by people residing in the Transnistrian region through fostering improvement of institutional frameworks in the area of disability, gender based violence and HIV, PWIDs and people in prisons.

The project aims to support the State Chancellery of Moldova in strengthening its capacities as the Center of Government, its policy and aid coordination functions, consolidate its long-term strategic planning framework, in order to be able to coordinate such complex strategies as the Central Public Administration Reform and the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.
SCORE in Moldova: Strengthening Social Cohesion

To achieve this ambitious goal, SCORE examines two main components of peace – reconciliation and social cohesion – and the intricate relationship between them.
Strengthening the National Statistical System
The project aims to strengthen the national statistical system through improvement of collection, dissemination and use of socio-economic statistical data. It helps the Government to advance on its European integration agenda on harmonising of official statistics with EU and international standards, as well as to integrate gender-equality and human rights based approach in statistics.

The Joint Action to Strengthen Human Rights in the Transnistrian Region of the Republic of Moldova project was aimed to facilitate access to a comprehensive package of integrated HIV and TB prevention, treatment and care services of assured quality for the people most at risk/key populations to HIV, TB in the civilian and prison sectors of the Transnistrian region.
Joint Programme Promoting Confidence in the Health Sector (Phase 1)
The project aims to create access to quality, evidence-based and cost efficient mother and child health care, including perinatal care and immunization on the left bank of the Nistru river. The project was implemented by UNDP, UNICEF, WHO and funded by European Union, and Swiss Development Cooperation Agency.

Acknowledging the widespread discrimination, exclusion and marginalization that persons with disabilities face globally, in 2006, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).
Strengthening Rule of Law and Human Rights Protection in Moldova
The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the rule of law and human rights protection in the Republic of Moldova in-line with international human rights standards, Justice Sector Reform Strategy (2011 – 2016) and its Action Plan, and National Human Rights Action Plan (2011-2014) and mainstreaming human rights based approach, equality, gender issues and inclusion. The project seeks to strengthen the capacities of national actors in specific areas of combating corruption, capacity building of the Constitutional Court and strengthening human rights protection framework and mechanisms with the focus on the tangible and visible results both for the target groups involved and the broader public.
Supporting National Human Rights Institutions as per International Treaty Bodies and UPR Recommendations
The overall project's goal is to contribute to the effective protection and promotion of human rights, equality and non-discrimination in the Republic of Moldova with particular attention to women, minorities, marginalised and vulnerable groups.
Women in Politics in Moldova
Boosting women’s political participation and decision-making is fundamental for democracy and essential for achieving sustainable development in Moldova. A UNDP - UN Women initiative, funded by the Government of Sweden, the “Women in Politics” Programme aims to increase the voice and the participation of women in political life in Moldova.
